When you install a disposable can of rain repellent fluid on the unit, a pin (7) lets the fluid enter inthe rain repellent gage assembly. A seal located into the can and another one located on the coupling (1) prevent any leakage.
– The “RAIN REPELLENT” fluid, pressurized by the gas contained in the can, flows into the transparent bowl (3).
– When the red push-button of the drain valve (4) is pushed, the air contained in the bowl is expelled until the fluid flows out of the drain union (5).The fluid at this moment reaches its maximum level in the transparent bowl.
– A pressure gage (6) provides an accurate indication of the pressure level inside the unit.
– After several sprays of “RAIN REPELLENT” fluid, the level is lower in the transparent bowl. The surface of the fluid appears and the needle of the pressure gage enters the “REFILL” yellow section.
(a) The gage assembly forms the can receptacle. The can is mounted on the receptacle, valve downwards. The receptacle includes the pin provided for unseating of the sealing valve of the can.
防雨计组件形成罐体容器。罐子安装在容器上,阀门向下。包括用于使罐的密封阀脱开的销。
(b) A pressure gage indicates the pressure in the can and thereby the quantity of fluid in the can:
– green band: the pressure is sufficient,
– yellow band: the pressure is low; the can must be replaced.
压力表指示罐中的压力,从而指示罐中液体的量:
-绿色带:压力足够,
-黄色带:压力低;必须更换罐子。
(c) The fluid gage incorporates a 80 cubic centimeters transparent chamber from which the fluid level is visible. When the can is completely empty, the remaining nitrogen pressure and the fluid remaining in the gage are still sufficient for several flights before replacement of the can.
(d) A purge pushbutton located on the can serves to purge the lines of the system when the can is replaced.
当更换防雨计组件时,防雨计组件上的清洗按钮用于清洗系统的管路。
The rain repellent gage assembly is a part of rain repellent system. It receives the pressurized can of rain repellent fluid. The equipment has a transparent bowl that contains a reserve of fluid. A drain valve allows to drain the circuit when the pressurized can is changed. A pressure gage indicates the pressure in the rain repellent circuit.
The can contains 475 cubic centimeters of usable rain-repellent fluid. The system is pressurized with nitrogen; the nitrogen pressure in the can when full is 5.8 +0.7 -0.4 bar (84.1218 +10.1526 -5.8015 psi). A valve held closed under the load of internal pressure seals the can. A thin pin is provided for displacement of the valve.
